this starts off with a live recording from a set in london, in 1995. dylan carlson, the proprietor of earth, on guitar and the original bassist for the band anvil, ian dickson, droning, feeding back, and riffing for around 32 minutes. the four following tracks are unreleased cuts from 1990. they're heavy, they've got dimension, and kurt cobain does some vocal work on the track "divine and bright". also, these tracks have the same line-up as the extra-capsular extraction (1991) release, with joe preston on bass and drum programming, and dave harwell also on bass, backing dylan carlson.
